Waldorf School

I am writing this letter to serve as my recommendation for Artisan Construction for work they have recently completed on the Waldorf school.  Artisan constructed the first classroom building on the Waldorf Schools new campus on Rio Road.  From the outset, this project required an unusual level of coordination and responsibility on the part of the contractor.  Our timeline was short and critical, we were determined to build in an environmentally responsible way, and we needed a contractor willing to enter into a design-build process in order to minimize costs.  Everyone at Artisan remained consistent to the claims they made in our initial conversations, and they have done so in a manner that is a testament to their professionalism, creative flexibility, and customer service.  In short, I am happy to recommend Artisan to anyone undertaking a project of this nature in the Charlottesville area.

I am writing to give an unqualified recommendation for Artisan Construction Company as they have just completed an 18 month project to construct a new 96,000 sq ft campus.  I cannot imagine undertaking this project without their leadership.  They worked hard to insure proper communication between the architects, the general contractor, the subs, and our offices.  I can say that in the entire eighteen months, he saw to it we were never blindsided. The Covenant School is in our new facility on time and budget because Artisan lead us through the process.
