These two case studies show just how seriously we take the relationship with our commercial clients, both large and small.
Artisan began its commercial construction operations in 1989. Among our first commercial contracts was a small renovation job for a major industrial concern with facilities just outside of Charlottesville. To date, we've done a total of $3M worth of small-project renovation work for this client.
When the University of Virginia needed to renovate Carruthers Hall, its business nerve-center, they chose us. The scale of the project was substantial. All _#_ employees running the school's financial operations needed to be able to continue working while the building was being rebuilt around them.
During the bidding process, Artisan located sixteen errors in the project's planning documents that would have cost serious time and money to correct. We won the contract, and, when all was said and done, a project that had originally been planned for five phases over twelve months got done in three phases in just six months.
