Carruthers Hall's renovations were very extensive, and not only upgraded all spaces, but also redefined access and circulation, all while minimizing the impact on existing operations. Five major departments occupied the 37,500 sq. ft. area.. All work was restricted by the extensive construction-phasing plan necessary to handle the complexity of shuffling occupants and construction workers while maintaining an uninterrupted and very compressed construction schedule.
